| With the development of China’s auto industry,the competition is becoming increasingly fierce that we meet the pressures of shorten the product development cycles time and cost.Generally we will spend manpower and resource to perform the paving ground durability test to validate the reliability of vehicle design,take more 3 to 4 months to finish it.Also the test results will be affected by the weather condition.So we need to find a short time,good repeatability,low cost test method to evaluate the reliability of vehicle design(RTS).In this paper,based on the material and structure pseudo damage equivalent theory,we use road simulation test to evaluate the reliability of vehicle,in order to save the test time and expense.It includes the introduction of proving ground,pseudo method,road spectrum acquired,edit,compression,generates the drive file and then RTS test.The article firstly introduces the car reliability assessment methods and theory,especially the theory of pseudo-equivalent damage as a benchmark to measure the quality of RTS test.Secondly we finished the spectrum acquisition in Fiat PG and completed signal edit work.And then we analyze these road signals by the statistical and frequency domain,as well as pseudo-damage value calculated for each system.Then we develop the indoor bench durability test procedure on the acquired road spectrum.Based on the principle of pseudo damage equivalence,we select the larger contribution road signal to the vehicles damage to combine into laboratory bench durability procedure after analyzing each channel’s pseudo damage.The actual used road will be equivalent to a number of sections of reinforced load from Fiat PG.Finally,we use this bench equivalent road signal on the company’s global project to run the RTS test.We develop the standard RTS test procedure based on pseudo damage equivalence which confirms the service life of 300,000 kilometers is equivalent to 129 hours of bench durability tests.This paper selected MTS 329 6DOF shaft coupled road simulator to execute durability tests.The experimental results of the vehicle can well reproduce the problems found in PG durability test and this method will be used in future localization project in China. |
