Research Of Tiered Electricity Pricing Policy Residents In Shanghai

Tiered electricity pricing policy is an important policy to relieve the scarcity of energy supply,reduce environmental pressures,balance coal price rise,reduce the price inversion between industry and commerce electricity price and resident electricity price.It has been almost three years since the policy was adopted.It is necessary for us to analysis the power consumption of residents and their electricity consumption habits.We must improve and perfect the tiered electricity pricing policy timely,to accomplish its social functions much better,and to according with its original intention.In this paper,we differentiate the typical power consumption of residents in Shanghai amply,and we further discuss the change of power consumption custom between within tiered electricity pricing policy and without tiered electricity pricing policy.It pointed the positive effect of the tiered electricity pricing policy.The uptrend of power consumption was been restrained.In addition,we also discuss the limit usage of tiered electricity pricing policy,impact on shifting peak load,and rationality of the tiered electricity pricing policy details in Shanghai.We sum the effectiveness of the tiered electricity pricing policy details in Shanghai,and propose some improvement suggestion to power supply company about the tiered electricity pricing policy.
