The Research On The Shape And Spatial Characteristics Of Examination Hall In The Qing Dynasty

As a product of the most important talent selection mechanism in China's feudal society---the imperial examination system,the Examination hall is not only an important symbol of ancient education and culture,but also a witness to the ancient history of more than 1,300 years.Under the background of the rapid development of society,the unique architectural value and cultural connotation of the Examination hall are more prominent.This paper analyzes the functional requirements of the Examination hall building and clarifies the requirements in terms of planning layout,building shape and space characteristics.On the basis of field research and literature review,based on the development history of China's imperial examination system,the formation process and system characteristics of Examination hall are sorted out.The most complete Dingzhou Examination hall in the north is selected as the research object,and the in-depth discussion is made to interpret its role and design on the architectural and spiritual levels.This paper is divided into three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.The introduction introduces the research background and significance of this paper as well as the status quo of the research on the architecture of the Examination hall Institute at home and abroad.The body part first sorts out the development history of Examination hall as a unique type of building;secondly,combines the knowledge of architecture-related fields,analyzes the basic elements and systems of Examination hall,and sorts out the historical evolution of Dingzhou Examination hall;again,in-depth analysis of Dingzhou The architectural shape and spatial characteristics of Examination hall Institute are discussed.The design features and spiritual construction are discussed.Finally,based on the role of Examination hall in the imperial examination system,the planning and design of typical educational building cases and the creation of space atmosphere are analyzed and combined.The practice design process is discussed.The conclusion part is summarized as a whole according to the full text.The study of Examination hall is in fact also exploring how the education of human beings is presented in the architectural space.From a new perspective,thinking about the spatial treatment of educational buildings,it has a little reference for all kinds of buildings.
