With the continuous development of wire end processing industry,China has become the country with the largest capacity of connector products.Because of its small size,light weight and excellent dielectric properties,the market supply is in short supply.However,at present,manual insertion is still used for the insertion of wiring and wiring connector shell.Many wire end processing enterprises are devoting themselves to the research and development of automatic wiring and wiring connector shell insertion machine.In this thesis,the research and development of automatic plugging machine for cabling and cabling connector shell had been carried out.The machine had completed prototype manufacturing and field debugging and operation,and participated in the 20 th China International High-tech Achievements Fair.After many tests,the comprehensive performance was good,and the qualified rate of plugging products reached more than 98%.In this thesis,the design process of the overall design scheme of automatic plug-in machine was discussed,the action characteristics of manual plug-in were analyzed,and the overall action layout scheme was worked out.According to the determined technical index and overall layout scheme,the automatic plug-in and plug-in machine were designed by using Solidworks software.The static analysis of splint and connector shell under the arrangement clamping device of the automatic connector were carried out by using the finite element analysis software ANSYS Workbench.According to the deformation and stress diagrams obtained,the stiffness check and structural optimization of the two parts were carried out.Then the three-dimensional model of the core module of the automatic plug-in machine was built and introduced in detail.The actual operation of the equipment was simulated,and the interference problem of the relative motion between the manipulators of each device was eliminated.The stepper motor,servo motor and pneumatic components which provided power were selected,designed and calculated,and the machine vision automatic recognition system was applied to product inspection to ensure the reliability of wiring connection results.The control system was the brain of the automatic plug-in machine.Based on the comprehensive analysis of the mechanism and action sequence of the automatic plug-inmachine,this thesis defined the control requirements of the automatic plug-in machine,chose the appropriate PLC and its expansion module,assigned the I/O address of the PLC,then assisted with the magnetic switch and photoelectric sensor as detection elements,which constituted the framework of the whole automatic plug-in control system.Finally,the control program of the automatic plug-in machine was compiled by using the PLC programming software STEP7-Micro/WIN.The field operation,work efficiency and product quality of the automatic plug-in machine were analyzed.The problems of the automatic plug-in machine were solved by modifying and optimizing the structure.
