Cylinder Block Bowl Sealing Press Machine is one of the most critical equipment in the engine assembly line of the automobile manufacturing industry.It is committed to meet the process requirements of the automatic filling and bowl-shaped stopper of the cylinder head.The precision and quality of the bowl-shaped plug can't be well guaranteed,because of the lack of Research and investment in the digital analysis and optimization design,so that it restricts the improvement of the product quality and production efficiency on a certain extent.Based on the above problems,the research on the assembly line of the cylinder head bowl plug press machine is carried out.In this paper,the function and working principle of the main device of the cylinder block press were installed.The assembly diagram of each device structure was designed and the three-dimensional model was established.Focusing on the design of the pressure device and improving the pressure and quality of bowl-shaped plug presses,optimal design through the finite element analysis and structural optimization were achieved.The specific research contents are as follows:1?In order to detect the interference situation between mechanical parts of the clamping mechanism,motion simulation of the working process of cylinder shaped plug was achieved by the Motion which was contained into SolidWorks.2?According to the interference relationship between the bowl-shaped plug and the cylinder head,elements model was established.ABAQUS was used to analyze the non-linear finite element analysis of the punching process of the bowl-shaped plug to construct stress and strain cloud of each component and achieve different factors on the impact of compression analysis.The reasonable amount of interference and friction coefficient were determined.3?The finite element model of the core components of the press-fit device was established.The finite element analysis of ANSYSWorkbench was realized.The stress-strain cloud diagram of each component was established to realize the mechanical evaluation and check of the parts,which ensure high mechanical strength and mechanical behavior of the parts.In order to optimize the indenter structure and achieve light weight parts design,MATLAB software was used.Accomplishing of design and analysis of the press cylinder of the engine cylinder bowel,the process requirements of the bowl-shaped plug high-precision press-fitand could be satisfied,and the theoretical basis and data are supported.
