With the popularity of LED lighting applications and the rise of IOT(Internet of Things)applications,general LED lighting has been unable to meet people's needs.LED lighting has entered the smart lighting era.People are investing in Smart Lighting applications based on wireless networking protocols such as Wi-Fi,BLE,ZigBee,and NB-IOT.et.However,at this time,LED smart lighting still has a series of problems that need to be solved,such as optimizing system architecture,reducing system standby power consumption,reducing the system communication delay and improving network reliability.This topic comes from the project “LED Smart Lighting driver system optimization” by BP-semiconductor.To solve these problems,based on the LED drive technology,this paper combines low standby power supply optimization,low standby IC design,LED dimming technology,wireless communication technology to optimize the system architecture of LED smart lighting applications,and complete LED smart lighting system design base on this architecture.For furtherly reduce the standby power consumption,this topic deeply analyzes the power loss characteristics of various components of system such as auxiliary power supply module and LED driver module in standby by state,optimizes the conversion efficiency of the auxiliary power supply module,and optimizes the standby static power of the LED driver module.Successfully reduce the power consumption of smart lighting system to less than 200 mW.Finally,designed a LED intelligent lighting system architecture that uses the BCM mode Buck architecture as the driver,the mix signal dimming as the dimming mode,and the BLE Mesh as the wireless networking protocol.And finally completed the hardware design,electrical performance testing,and network application testing.After design and debugging,the system achieves the preset goal.The performance indicators such as system efficiency,harmonic distortion,input adjustment rate and other indicators are excellently;the system standby power consumption is less than 200 mW,far lower than the current regulatory requirements which is 500mW;the dimming range is wide,can softly dim the brightness and color for 1% to 100%,dimming curve is great.The system can be control by APP to realize the dimming color,networking control,preset scene functions.The system can be access by Amazon Echo,T-mall Genie,and other domestic and foreign public smart home cloud platform to achieve the whole house intelligence.it makes the system more practicality and scalability,laid the foundation for further development and marketing efforts.
