With the opening of more and more metro lines in the future, the passenger flow generated by the newly built transfer hub will cause the interweaving of passenger flow in the existing line platform and station hall, which will reduce the transfer efficiency of the hub and at the same time, there are existing security risks.Taking the Shangmelin Transfer Hub of Shenzhen Metro as the research object, aiming at the problems of local congestion, queuing in platform and intertwined passenger flow of the newly built transfer hub of urban rail transit, this paper puts forward the classification of passenger flow organization measures based on passenger flow control points, and establishes a simulation model based on MasMotion simulation platform to evaluate the passenger flow diversion organizer of channel+station-hall transfer. The validity of the case provides a complete set of ideas and research methods for the validity evaluation of passenger flow organization measures adopted by the newly built transfer hub, thus ensuring the safe operation of the transfer hub and establishing an efficient, safe and comfortable integrated travel system for passengers.Firstly, the domestic passenger flow organization data are analyzed and refined.Aiming at the problems of platform congestion, queuing and passenger flow interweaving under the current peak and large passenger flow conditions, the passenger flow organization measures based on the facilities layout and passenger flow diversion adopted by passenger flow control points are proposed. The problems of Shangmelin transfer hub studied in this paper are clarified and the method of combining passageway and station hall transfer is proposed. The passenger flow diversion organization scheme lays the foundation for the subsequent case simulation modeling and evaluation. Then, through the combination of video shooting method and questionnaire survey method, which was conducted to analyze the influencing the factors of choice in stairs, escalators and vertical elevators.Utility functions were established based on the characteristics of arrival time at facilities, queuing length of facilities, familiarity with hubs and path.Stairs, escalators and vertical elevators were constructed by basing on disaggregated theory, also this MNL model of transfer hub facilities is used and calibrated. Finally, based on the MassMotion simulation, the transfer hub before and after adopting the passenger flow diversion organization scheme is simulated and modeled. The parameters of pedestrian behavior module in the simulation model are set by using the prediction results of the facility choice MNL model. The output and comparison of indices are carried out from the regional service level and the average transfer time respectively. The relevant conclusions of the scheme effectiveness are as follows: On the one hand,by using the method of combining passageway and station hall,it may alleviate the crowding degree of passenger flow in the direction of transfer pressure and improves the service level. On the other hand,it also reduces the average transfer time in the heavy direction of passenger flow, which achieves the anticipated purpose of passenger flow organization measures and is effective.
