In modern industry,needle roller bearings are widely used,and the roller plays an important role in the life and performance of needle roller bearings.When the dia meter or length of the needle roller in the needle bearing is unevenly distributed,the bearing rotation process will be unevenly applied and will be concentrated on the n eedle roller of the individual size,thereby affecting the bearing life and the bearing performance.Therefore,the needle roller diameter must be consistent in needle roller diameter.Therefore,the needle diameter and length measuring mechanism is very im portant for the bearing production industry in China.However,the measurement and speed of the needle roller measuring mechanism in China is generally lower than tha t of foreign countries,which has certain restrictions on the development of the dome stic bearing industry.So we need to develop a measurement method that enables hig h-speed,high-accuracy measurements of needle diameter and length.The principle of high-speed measurement in this paper is to measure the diamete r and length of the needle roller using dynamic measurement.In order to ensure the measurement accuracy of the needle roller dynamics,we chose the differential measur ing device to dynamically measure the needle diameter.At the same time,the schem e of measuring the needle length in the dynamic process is designed,that is,under t he premise of ensuring the smooth movement of the needle roller,the needle roller l ength is calculated by the relationship between the needle movement speed and the ti me of the measurement station.Moreover,the overall scheme of the needle diameter and length measuring mechanism was designed.The main research content of this paper:First,Designed a high speed needle roller diameter measuring device.Firstly,a differential measuring mechanism that can realize the differential method is designed.After the error analysis of the mechanism,it is found that the needle posture causes a large error.Then,the limit mechanism that limits the jumper of the needle is desi gned.After analyzing the error of the limit mechanism,it is proved that the mechani sm meets the error requirement.Then,Designed a high speed needle roller length measuring device.Since the ne edle length measurement is related to the needle movement speed,in order to make the needle roller feed smoothly,the needle roller feeding method is first designed to verify that the loading method can meet the needle needle length measurement requir ements.Then the error analysis of the needle length detection is performed.Fanilly,An algorithm for processing data is designed.Since the needle length an d diameter are measured simultaneously using a single sensor,the measurement data contains both the diameter information and the length information of the needle rolle r.After the single sensor needle roller measurement data,the algorithm can extract t he diameter and length of the needle roller after processing the data.The mechanical part of the needle diameter and length measuring system consist s of two parts,which are divided into feeding device and measuring device.The nee dle roller feeding device mainly ensures that the needle roller is evenly fed at a spe cified speed.The needle roller measuring device measures the diameter and length of the needle roller to ensure measurement accuracy.The measurement and control part includes a hardware part and a software part.The hardware part mainly realizes the measurement action of the needle roller and collects data.The software part mainly processes the data and obtains the measurement results.Then,the performance of the designed needle roller measuring mechanism was tested to verify the accuracy of th e mechanism.After analyzing the experimental data,the repeated measurement accura cy was less than 1 ?m,and the sorting speed reached 10/s,which satisfied the meas urement mechanism.Precision and speed requirements.
