Cultural and creative industry was born in Britain in the 1980 s.After 30 years of development,it has become an emerging industrial form,exerting a growing influence on people's cultural production,consumption,investment,distribution and other activities.With the support of national policies,China's cultural and creative industry,like Japan,is developing rapidly and playing a more and more important role in national life.As a category of cultural and creative industry,museum cultural and creative industry is getting more and more attention.With the vigorous development of the cultural and creative industry in museums,a large number of products related to exhibitions in museums have been launched for sale,thus the cultural and creative products in museums have been born.Among the rich categories of museum cultural and creative products,there is one type that relies on graphic design to express the sense of beauty.Such products are gradually favored by the market due to their diversified performance methods and cost-effective creative costs.(1)This paper first expounds the language features of graphic design and the attributes of natural culture and creative products.Combined with a case study,the types of natural history cultural and creative products based on graphic design are analyzed.Through the investigation of cultural and creative products of the Palace Museum in Beijing and the national museum of China,it is proved that the cultural and creative products of the museum,which are mainly featured by graphic design,have become the norm.(2)Combined with the advantages of graphic design language,namely rich visual expression;Diversity of creative expression;The relatively low cost of realization explains the necessity of applying graphic design to cultural and creative products.(3)This paper illustrates the specific methods of applying graphic design to cultural and creative products of museums by combining cases.From a theoretical point of view,graphic design is how to show the beauty of the product.(4)Combining the foregoing,the method of graphic design is applied to the case of cultural and creative products research and development of Hunan Provincial Museum,which proves the universality,practicality and necessity of the application of graphic design in cultural and creative products of Hunan Provincial Museum from the practical level.In a comprehensive way,the application of graphic design can promote the research and development of cultural and creative products in museums,which is beyond doubt.It is hoped that through the author's research results on the application of graphic design in cultural andcreative products,the theoretical interpretation of design can be carried out to promote the application and popularization of graphic design methods.
