With the rapid development of industrialization in China, more and more industrial buildings are approaching the design life, especially the existing industrial buildings that are still in service.Such industrial buildings are facing severe aging and breakage of structural components, and even influenced by external environment such as vibration, high temperature and corrosive gases.Their structural reliability has been seriously reduced, which has become a safety issue increasingly concerned by the society.Based on the theoretical knowledge of industrial building reliability,a mathematical model of three level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is established by using fuzzy mathematics, which provides a new research idea for the reliability evaluation of industrial buildings in service. In order to verify the feasibility of the research method, based on an existing one storey workshop as an example of reliability evaluation, the evaluation process and the identification results are discussed and compared with the standard and identification methods, analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the two methods, provide feasible suggestions to new directions for future research the reliability of industrial building.Through comparison, the results of the two evaluation methods are different, but the final evaluation results are basically the same. This indicates that the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is effective and feasible for the reliability evaluation of monolayer industrial buildings. It provides new feasibility suggestions for the research of reliability evaluation of industrial buildings in the future, and has important social and environmental and economic benefits.
