With regarding of role and importance of energy~1 and the dependence of different sectors on this vital material,its price changes naturally have an impact on the economic growth of energy consuming sectors.Because the agricultural sector is one of the major consumers of electricity,oil,and gas.In this thesis,the effect of electricity,gas and oil prices on economic growth in the agricultural sector during the period(1978Q1-2008Q4)has been studied and evaluated.To study this issue more precisely and to evaluate the effects of changes in the price of electricity,gas,and oil on the growth of the agricultural sector,first,the theoretical foundations related to growth have been analyzed.Then in chapter three the status and structure of energy consumption and the statistics of the agricultural sector related to the research are examined.In the fourth chapter,using the statistical information and the econometric method(VAR),the effect of the price of electricity,gas,and oil on the economic growth of the agricultural sector was tested.The results of this estimation show that there is a negative relationship between the price of electricity and the economic growth of the agricultural sector,as well as the price of gas and oil and the growth of the agricultural sector,and their price increase will reduce growth in this sector.The empirical result shows that the energy price has a negative relationship with the agricultural growth of added value in the long-run and short-run...
