Research On The Design Strategies Of The Healing Garden Of Aged Care Based On The Seasonal Landscape Of The Cold City

Healing garden is a natural landscape and the humanities landscape benefit physical and mental health of the users through the outdoor space.The Aged healing garden in the cold area based on the seasonal landscape is built for the aged in the cold urban environment,which provides physical rehabilitation and spiritual comfort,and enhances the happiness of life in old age.The users of the Aged healing garden in the cold area are the old people in the cold areas of the north.The first is in accordance with the design theory of healing garden,with the three level of the elderly sensory experience,behavioral experience,emotional experience,As well as the three dimensions of the satisfaction of the aged,the questionnaire survey and field investigation are carried out to find out the realistic needs of the elderly in the cold area.The basis of the Aged healing garden in cold area is the seasonal landscape.The Chinese traditional garden theory,Tian-ren-xiang-fu and Tian-ren-xiang-lei,and the evidence-based design of Healing Garden in the West recently are the theoretical bases.The interaction between human health and natural seasonal landscape is an important rationale for the design strategy of Aged healing garden in cold area.The unique seasonal features such as seasonal landscape(seasonal space-time and phenology),seasonal artificial landscape(structures and installation),seasonal humanity are formed.The design of the Aged healing garden in the cold area should follow the principles of the coordination of the seasonal features with the physiological rhythm of the elderly,the support of physical rehabilitation,and the identification of emotional values.The design strategy of Aged healing garden in cold city is holistic,including five aspects: support in social based on the seasonal space-time,sense of control based on the seasonal structures,natural factor based on the seasonal phenology,elements of exercise and exercise based on the seasonal installation,and artistic elements based on the seasonal humanity.In summary,this research try to construct the design principles and Strategie s of Aged healing gardens in cold area,based on the investigation of current situation of environmental in nursing homes,and the theory of interaction between natural seasonal landscape and human health in Chinese and Western cultural traditions,in order to arouse the seniors’ deep emotional recognition and strong sense of belonging and happiness towards the local environment and local culture,the elderly in cold cities will enjoy their old age in their home town.
