On The Current Situation Of Vernacular Architecture Heritage From The Perspective Of Community Change

As the carrier of traditional local culture,vernacular architecture heritage is more and more concerned and recognized by all parties.The current situation of the vernacular architecture heritage is not optimistic,which is closely related to the social environment changes.The rural community refers to the concept of village community based on certain blood and geography,which constitutes the most basic social environment of the vernacular architecture heritage.Since the formation of the vernacular architecture heritage(especially after the founding of New China),the rural community has undergone tremendous changes,which has had an important impact on the vernacular architecture heritage.The current situation of vernacular architecture heritage is an important clue,which is full of traces left by historical intervention.The investigation,analysis and interpretation of the current situation is an important basis for studying this influence.Based on this,this paper intends to discuss the impact of rural community changes on the vernacular architecture heritage on the basis of current research.There are two levels: one is to explore the corresponding impact mechanism,and the other is to analyze the development of the values of vernacular architecture heritage.Based on rich mapping results and a large number of physical remains,this paper takes the vernacular architecture heritage of the East of Hubei province as the main research object,and regards the Ming and Qing Dynasties formed by the heritage as the time range of research.The case selection of this study is based on the distribution of the current cultural relic units in the eastern part of Hubei,on the other hand,basing on the accumulation of cases from previous studies.Based on the current concept and research on the community,this paper proposes three basic elements of the rural community: economic foundation,social organization and cultural identity,and refines the various elements,and draws nine points.On the basis of this,a “secondary analysis” of the current situation of the vernacular architecture heritage in the eastern part of the country is carried out,and the current content of the ten community perspectives is obtained.In order to establish the relationship between rural communities and vernacular architecture heritage,this paper bases on the theory of “values-centered heritage protection” proposed by the Bala Charter,and divides the value of local architectural heritage into subjective and objective through the dual method.At one level,the influence of rural communities on the vernacular architecture heritage is attributed to changes in subjective values and objective values,and the analysis and interpretation of the current situation is the medium of association between the two.This paper starts from the changes of the three elements of the rural community,and discusses the influence of the rural community on the vernacular architecture heritage of the eastern part of the country,and summarizes the development of the heritage values in different periods.This paper takes the rural community as the research subject of the vernacular architecture heritage,and contributes to the research perspective of expanding the vernacular architecture.
