Winding deformation is an important threat to the healthy operation of power transformers.Due to the advantages of good visualization and outstanding safety,the ultrasonic method has been applied in the field of winding deformation detection.However,the current single-channel ultrasonic method has low detection efficiency and limited winding detection range.Therefore,a winding ultrasonic array detection method is presented and the transformer winding deformation 3D imaging detection system based on the ultrasonic array is developed.The system can realize the efficient,intuitive and quantitative 3D imaging live detection of winding deformation.First of all,aiming at the defects of the single-channel detection method,the ultrasonic array detection method of the winding is proposed.By using multiple ultrasonic waves to detect the windings,the detection efficiency can be remarkably improved.Based on this method,the multi-point array 3D coordinate generation algorithm and the winding deformation quantization representation algorithm are proposed.According to the ultrasonic array propagation time and the transducer array position,the multi-point 3D coordinates of the winding can be quickly generated and the winding deformation can be quantified.Thus a multi-point array 3D imaging detection method is formed.This method uses the distance between the transmitting transducer and the surface of the winding as the characteristic quantity of the winding state,can be applied to detect a plurality of different types of winding deformation.It extends the detection range of the winding deformation.Secondly,based on the ultrasonic array detection method,the winding detection hardware system based on ultrasonic array is designed and developed.First of all,the ultrasonic transducer was selected according to the actual testing needs,then the ultrasonic array high-voltage drive circuit,echo processing circuit and temperature compensation circuit are designed to match the transducer,ultimately a winding ultrasonic array detection hardware system is formed.The system can launch enough strong high-frequency ultrasound to penetrate the transformer tank,it can detect the winding by multi-channel ultrasonic waves while the transformer is working,and the testing data of multiple winding points can be sent to the host computer at one time.An efficient winding live detection can be achieved.Finally,a 3D imaging detection software system based on ultrasonic array is designed and developed.The software can process the multi-point ultrasonic inspection data of the winding and quickly generate the 3D state diagram of the winding surface and analyze the deformation of the winding.Thus the specific degree,property and position of the transformer winding deformation can be obtained.The system realizes the visualization and quantification of the winding deformation,which can play a good guiding role in the actual maintenance work.
