In such competitive automobile market,it's essential for car manufactures to shorten the turnaround time of each business development project and to strive for a slim time schedule before introducing a new car model into the market.Project schedule management adopts the method of scientific and standardized schedule plan to reasonably plan the project activities and ensure the projects could be completed within the prescribed timeline or even ahead of it.Therefore,the concept of the management method as mentioned above is critical and meaningful.The thesis takes the TAGP2 passenger car body development project of SV as the research object,and adopts the critical chain method to manage the project schedule considering the effects of resource conflicts and human behavior factors.The project is divided into independent activities in accordance with the method of work breakdown structure(WBS);turnaround time of each activity are determined by three-point estimate method and the logical relationships between activities and the distribution of the available resources by each activity are determined under the requirements of existing pre-set conditions.Gantt chart is tabulated to further illustrate the project process.The circumstance when encountering resources conflict is taken into consideration when optimizing the project schedule;parallel tasks will be converted to serial ones by critical chain method and afterwards determine the critical chains.In this thesis,durations of project activities are estimated leveraging on experts' opinions from the their prospective in order to demonstrate the target is achievable after making efforts.And also,the duration of project is adjusted to be more practical.Considering the uncertainties of the project,a modified buffer sizing method is introduced to identify the buffer capacity,and finalize the project schedule plan.Comparing with the critical path method which doesn't include the scenario when encountering the resource conflicts,critical chain method saves about 4 months of R&D time.When project is implemented,progress deviation of key components is controllable.And also,milestone events are set by phases,documents are standardized and establish the reasonable control standards.During the process,regular meetings are held to discuss and evaluate the latest progress.When the deviation occurs,timely analysis of the causes and effects and correct it by reasonable measures.In this thesis,the project is analyzed by the critical chain method which is representative under the concept of project schedule management.According to the results,the method not only improves the efficiency of the project but also helps to achieve the target,and more importantly,the construction ability to enterprise's project management was strengthened.In essential,it is practical and effective to improve the project management experience of each enterprise when adopting the subject methodology.
