Design And Implementation Of Remote Data Concentrator Based On AFDX Network In IMA Avionics System

As an important component of the integrated modular avionics system,Remote Data Concentrator(RDC)provides the interface between the core processing platform and a remote device,and takes responsibility for remote data acquisition and conversion.In addition,Aviation Full Duplex Switched Ethernet(AFDX)based on Ethernet technology can provide high-bandwidth,real-time and deterministic communication,and support a variety of functions and applications with high-performance for the aircraft.Therefore,the design and implementation of a Remote Data Concentrator based on AFDX network has practical significance for the development of avionics systems.A RDC based on AFDX network is designed and implemented by using the design thought of modularization and miniaturization.First,the background,advantages and development prospects of the RDC are analyzed,and the research situations at home and abroad are analyzed.Second,the integrated modularization of the avionics systems and AFDX networks,as the background knowledge of RDC,is described.Then the functional and performance requirements of RDC are analyzed.The overall design is proposed.In detail,various modules including processor circuit based on MPC8270 and bus interface circuit are designed respectively.Last,several experiments are carried out to verify the correctness and feasibility of the RDC.The result shows that the design of RDC matches the requirement well.The RDC designed in this paper has been verified and applied in IMA platform.The results show that it reaches the expectations of technical requirements.Through the cutting of the interface,it can be used for specific models,which shows that the design in this paper also has a guiding significance.
