The avionics system is a core component of civil aircraft, and with the development of avionics system, the Integrated Modular Avionics is adopted by the new civil aircrafts such as A380, B787 and C919. As the node of core network of avionics system, Remote Data Concentrator completes the function of gateway between different avionics data buses, and plays a vital role in the architecture of IMA. Thence, research on Remote Data Concentrator plays an important meaning.It focuses on the simulation research on Remote Data Concentrator, and semi-physical simulation technology is used to build a complete and flexible simulation system of Remote Data Concentrator based on the study of avionics buses such as ARINC429 and AFDX, and the functions such as data conversion, information configuration and data monitoring are completed.First of all, the interface and functions of gateway and data loading of Remote Data Concentrator are analyzed, and research of the overall requirement, the bus signal type, data transceiver mode and simulation mode laid the foundation for the design of simulation system.Secondly, the overall framework of Remote Data Concentrator simulation system is provided,the architecture of hardware platform of simulation system is designed, and the model of hierarchical modular structure is built for software platform and cross-linked relationships between modules are analyzed. The design principle of software in simulation system is proposed, and all functional modules of simulation system are designed and accomplished based on the model of software architecture. Finally, test plans are proposed for functions of Remote Data Concentrator simulation system and related tests are completed. The test result shows that the functions expected are completed by the simulation system. It shows that the function of simulation system designed achieves requirement in this paper.
