The vehicle suspension is an important part between the body and the tire(or axle).In addition to transmitting torque and providing good steering stability,the suspension can also buffer vibration and shock caused by uneven road surface.The suspension comprehensively affects the ride comfort,operational stability and safety of the vehicle.With the development of vehicle technology and demand of the market,the vibration reduction control and energy harvesting of the suspension has become a new requirement from consumer,and energy-regenerative suspension with both functions has become a hot spot for vehicle suspension research.(1)The paper starts with the energy-suspension actuator and gives the overall scheme of the vibration control and energy recovery suspension system.The basic principles and specific methods are designed by the scheme include driving actuator for suspension vibration control and the recovering electric energy by the actuator through rectification to the energy storage module.(2)Modeling the active suspension and simulating its characteristics,designing a fuzzy PID controller based on particle swarm optimization,and comparing the active control effects of different controllers through Matlab/Simulink platform simulation.(3)Modeling the voice coil motor and designing the driving scheme of current hysteresis control.The simulation results show that the control scheme can make the motor effectively track the reference current and realize the output force control.(4)The performance of a double closed loop controller with outer loop fuzzy PID control based on particle swarm optimization and inner loop current hysteresis control is analyzed through simulation and the energy recovery circuit is also simulated and verified.(5)Based on the laboratory shaking table load conditions,a 1/4 car suspension bench model was designed,and a suspension experimental platform was built.The test was carried out for different input excitations.The test results indicated that the control scheme can improve the ride comfort of the car and achieve basic energy recovery.
