| With the improvement of people’s living standards and the rapid development of civil aviation,China’s airport construction has been accelerating.In recent years,the national airport passenger flow is also gradually increasing.The overall layout of the airport terminal has an important impact on passengers’ choice of routes,which is directly related to their flight experience in the terminal.Passengers are the main body of terminal space activities,so people-oriented terminal space planning is necessary to master the rules of passenger behavior in space,using these rules to organize space facilities.At present,the treatises on terminal mainly focus on the overall planning and construction of the airport,and lack of research on the internal space of the terminal.In this paper,the research scope is limited to the spatial layout of the terminal.Taking the departure floor of Terminal T2 of Nanjing Lukou International Airport as the object,the research on passenger behavior characteristics and the relationship between them and spatial characteristics is carried out.The purpose is to discover the characteristics of terminal layout and propose optimization and improvement strategies for the spatial layout of the terminal.In this paper,the basic attributes and spatial behaviors of passengers on the departure floor of the airport terminal were obtained through field investigation of Nanjing Lukou International Airport.To explore the spatial characteristics of terminal,the value of connectivity,control,depth,choice,integration,and intelligibility were obtained by space syntax and degree centrality,betweenness centrality and closeness centrality,density were obtained by social network analysis to quantify the spatial characteristics of the departure layer of terminal.On the basis of describing the passenger behavior paths,k-means clustering algorithm was adopted to divide the passenger behavior patterns into five categories: boarding,boarding-shopping,boarding-catering,boarding-leisure and entertainment,boarding-shopping-catering,to obtain the typical behavior paths of all types of passengers.Finally,a discrete selection model was selected to analyze the relationship between spatial characteristics and passenger spatial behavior selection,and a sub-model study was conducted on passengers with different attributes to explore the influence of spatial layout on the selection of passenger spatial behavior with different attributes.The research results of this paper can be used as a reference to guide the optimization of terminal space layout,so that the airport can better meet the different needs of passengers and improve the management level of the airport. |
