Study Of Ancient Villages Landscape Space Form In Su Zhou Based On Space Syntax

Rich in products and talented people,Suzhou is a good place for its natural environment,historical context and cultural background,social economy,these factors compound to compose the unique rural regional landscape of Suzhou.Meanwhile,urbanization and modernization together promote the traditional village economic development of traditional village in Suzhou,improve the quality of life of the villagers,but also bringing the development opportunity and challenges for landscape planning and design of Suzhou village.In the process of urbanization,The original scenery and historic antiquities of traditional village in Suzhou are destroyed.It’s urgent for us to protect the village landscape space in a scientific way.In this paper,we first summarizes the domestic and foreign research on the traditional villages in Suzhou,as well as the quantitative analysis of the village,and then we analysis the types of the traditional village landscape space of Suzhou and the advantages of the quantitative analysis on the traditional villages.Based on the above,the traditional village landscape space in Suzhou is divided into two parts: external landscape space and internal social space.Then we discuss the feasibility and the scientific nature of the space syntax theory used in the traditional village space research.Then,based on the space syntax theory,we analysis the traditional village landscape space of Suzhou from two aspects.Finally,the strategy of the protection and planning of the traditional village landscape in Suzhou is put forward.The traditional village landscape space is dynamic and constantly developing.For the protection of traditional village landscape space,we should not only focus on the present problems,but also the new problems in the future.This paper focuses on the research of the dynamic relationship between the village people and space,hope to summary the detailed methods of quantitative study of traditional village landscape space,in order to have a role in the protection and planning of traditional village landscape space.
