Study On The Strategy Of Bamboo Architecture’s Form Constitution And Space Construction

Since the end of last century,China enters a fastigium of cities ’rebuilding and establishment,the cities changed greatly.Because of extensive development,the building was demolished after it was not used for a long time.And construction waste has become one of the root causes of pollution.The negative impact of steel and concrete on the environment makes architects begin to self-reflect.They decide to look for a kind of green and sustainable building material.And bamboo as a new environmentally-friendly material,is widely distributed,high-yielding,and cheap.Besides,it also has outstanding material properties.All of these have caught the attention of the architects.Architects like Vo Trong Nghia,Simon Velez,Markus Heinsdorff and so on,have made in-depth research on the form,space and construction technology of bamboo architecture.And their research has laid a solid foundation for the popularization and promotion of bamboo buildings.As a major bamboo producing country,Chinese architects also attache great importance to the utilization of bamboo resources.Some excellent Architects,such as Cui Kai,Zhang Yonghe,Li Xiaodong,Chen Haoru,and Zhu Ling,have made a deep study in bamboo architectural design.They have attend lots of international activities,such as the World Expo and the Bamboo Biennale,tried to strengthen the cooperation with foreign architects,All these efforts have promoted the development of bamboo architecture in China.According to the material properties of bamboo,it is of theoretical significance and practical value to study the form constitution and space construction of the bamboo buiding systematically.This article is mainly a study on the form constitution and space construction of modern bamboo architecture.And the whole article is divided into five parts.The first part introduces the research background,significance,literature review and research methods.The second part mainly discusses the material characteristics of Bamboo,structural system,joint construction.It lays a foundation for the following research on architectural form and space.In the third part,the formal composition method of the original bamboo building will be discussed specifically.And the original bamboo is used as a structure to provide the architectural main body,it can also be used as a non-structural skin or combined with other materials to influence the composition of the building form.All of these will provide reference for future bamboo architectural form design In the fourth part,the function of bamboo interface is mainly discussed.Interfaces can enclose space,adjust space,even organize the spatial sequence.And the perceptual attributes of space is also influenced by the texture of the interface.In the fifth part,the article analyses the relationship between bamboo architecture and the environment,then thinks about the way of inheriting local history,culture and social custom.And it is of great significance to explore bamboo architecture in poverty alleviation and disaster relief for all mankind.At the same time,designers use bamboo architecture to express their personal feelings and social responsibility.Finally,the paper analyzes the difficulties faced by bamboo architecture in the development of modern architecture.Antisepsis,fire prevention and joint construction technology of bamboo need to be improved.China’s bamboo building tandards have not yet been formulated.And compared with modern architecture,bamboo architecture has many limitations in its form and space.We still need to keep trying,and realize the ecological value and social significance of bamboo architecture,so that bamboo construction can play a greater role in poverty alleviation and disaster relief.
