Research On The Image Design Of The Restaurant With The Theme Of Old Shanghai

As ancient saying goes“Food is the first necessity of the people”.With the further improvement of living standards,people are eating no longer for just fullness but for new ideas and feelings and thus a variety of themed restaurants came into being.The culture-themed restaurant image not only evokes memories of the times,allows customers to experience a cultural sentiment in the dining experience,but also to highlight the restaurant brand features and have more commercial value accordingly.This paper mainly expounds the thinking mode and design concept of the visual image design of the theme restaurant,the prevailing significance and the design purpose of the theme restaurant,studies and inducts the characteristics and design ideas of the technique.Applying the grasp and design from color emotion and visual image of old Shanghai style to the basic design of cultural theme restaurant,theme-based interior design of hard-wearing,soft-packing,VI and other visual image design to emphasis the theme elements,expressions and design procedures based on the study of the regional style characteristics of the old Shanghai era.The essence of this paper is to study and develop the application of cultural theme restaurants in real life and tourism,seize the visual culture and visual aesthetic form of the old Shanghai theme to make the unique era history and regional culture spread in various forms and integrate contemporary design ideas and technical means and therefore making the image design of the theme restaurant new and unique.
