For the purpose of creating a sound space for the development of the themerestaurant market, this article uses the research methods like literature research, fieldsurvey, questionnaire survey and so on which is aimed at combing the researchbackground and the development history of the theme cultural restaurant space athome and abroad to learn about current situation and the development trends so thatthe basic characteristics of the theme restaurant cultural space could be cleared. Basedon the theoretical researches, the full text focuses on from the early marketenvironment analysis to the theme culture creation and design on light, materials,furnishings, colors and productions and then to the later marketing management.According to the feedback of the questionnaires, the key issues which affects thedevelopment of the theme restaurant market is the operators’ lacking of thecomprehension and investigation on the theme culture which could result in a singlecultural performance and uncoordinated factors in the overall environment, and thenthe life cycle of the theme restaurant space is shortened. And the correspondingstrategy is subsequently put forward:(1) Strengthen the expression of the themeculture, including its product and the participation in the recreational activities.(2)Extend the subject matter which is mainly reflected in the segmentation of theoriginal theme, the sub-product development of the theme and the theme cultureupdating at the new time to make the product dynamic.(3) Expand the consumergroups by increasing the publicity channels, so that more consumers are familiar withthe theme culture.(4) Beautify the theme cultural space with an appropriatedecoration to show its art style and coordinate and innovate the types and appearancesof the dishes.(5) Select the appropriate location which could adapt to the culture ofthe surrounding area and the traffic environment. Provide the systematic and usefulreference for the construction of the theme cultural restaurant through the in-depthanalysis, which could promote the vigorous development of the theme restaurantmarket.
