Box-truss flatbed vehicle used in shipyard for yacht transportation.The flatbed vehicle is composed of box trusses welded from a series of steel tubes,each truss can be disassembled and assembled freely,the power of the vehicle comes from four driving wheels,and equipped with a number of supporting from the driven wheel,each from the position of variable.The advantages of the transporter are light weight,easy to change the structure,convenient expansion and upgrading,low manufacturing cost,for the transport of large volume target.In this paper,the structural form of a flatbed vehicle is presented,the structural strength analysis and optimization design are carried out,and a program of parametric finite element modeling for the box-truss flatbed vehicle of structure is compiled,which provides a tool for the design and structural strength check of this type of structure in the future.First,according to the loading requirements of the flatbed vehicle design,design composed of flatbed vehicle parts.To facilitate the identification of any specified flatbed vehicle member,the flatbed truck member is numbered.Then,in order to check the structural strength of flatbed vehicle,the direct analysis approach will be used to calculate the strength of flatbed vehicle.It is necessary to establish the finite element mesh model of flatbed vehicle before compute.Considering that subsequent optimization tasks can be carried out smoothly and tools are provided for the establishment of the finite element model of similar structure strength compute,a set of software for the establishment of the finite element mesh model of flatcar will be prepared by means of parametric modeling.The modeling method can change size,form and placement of the structure and overall structure form and size of the flatbed vehicle.Secondly,the structural strength of flatbed vehicle is checked based on the finite element model established above.Looking for the weak point of the strength of the vehicle force structure;The stress distribution of each part of the structure is analyzed,and the part with large stress surplus is the key part of the optimization.Finally,the flatbed vehicle optimization,the process includes two aspects: the optimization of position of driven wheel,optimization of flatbed vehicle structure.The optimization of the position of driven wheel is the optimization of the boundary condition of the finite element model of the flatbed vehicle.When the structural strength of the optimization scheme is compute by direct analysis approach,the position optimization of driven wheel of the vehicle simulated by changing the boundary condition of the vehicle,and the optimal scheme will be selected.Three kinds of optimization schemes are put forward for the structural optimization of the flatbed vehicle: changing the structural form of the box-truss;Changing the size of the parts of the plate truss;Change the parts thickness of the hexahedral connector and end face flange.In this paper,the parametric finite element model of box-truss structure based on ABAQUS_Python script is studied,and the mechanical characteristics of box-truss structure are summarized according to the compute results,which has certain engineering practical value.
