With the improvement of economy in China,living standards of citizens are improving day by day.The requirements of cultural experience during travel are becoming higher and higher,people are eager to enjoy the local natural scenery,taste the local delicacies and experience the residential environment with local cultural characteristics during the journey.B&B as a new residential place with regional characteristics,which can give tourists unique experience of regional culture,and it is quite a popular choice for tourists in recent years.Laoshan attracts a large number of tourists every year with its long history,specific culture,unsophisticated folk customs and unique natural landscape.However,the B&B service in Laoshan is still stopping at the start-up stage,which means the relevant theoretical research is inadequate.Most designs of the B&Bs neglect the expression for the regional culture of Laoshan,they cannot let tourists deeply feeling the connotation of Laoshan culture.Therefore,it is particularly important to explore the relationship between regional culture and Laoshan residential quarters.This article elucidates the related concepts of B&B and regional culture based on the development of B&B at Laoshan with field researching.After the research on Laoshan,it concludes the regional feature of Laoshan and the current development of B&B,analyzes the necessity and feasibility of presenting the regional culture in the B&B of Laoshan,and it also confirms that it is very necessary to present the regional culture in the B&B of Laoshan with the questionnaires for tourists.On the base of actual situation of Laoshan,it concludes the design theme for the B&B in Laoshan with the integration of the related cases.It summarizes the method that which kind of interior design can presents regional culture and concludes the principles to be followed in the design for the B&B at Laoshan through the exploration for the space,color,material,decorators and light of B&B.This article brings the detailed the case design according to the previous theory,and the author practically designed with the related question and solution,trying to give some inspiration for the further B&B interior design in Laoshan and even entire China.
