Urban rail transit is an important part of urban public transport,which has the advantages of fast,convenient and low pollution.With the gradual improvement of Xi’an urban rail transit network construction,passenger volumes have also increased.At the end of 2018,it reached 67.290 million passengers per month,and the intensity of passenger flow per kilometer reached the first in the China.The traffic congestion and traffic safety problems also occurred.Therefore,how to solve the congestion problem of urban rail transit stations scientifically and reasonably and provide unobstructed,safe and convenient travel experience for urban residents has become a difficult problem to be solved in the whole society.The thesis adopts the research methods of theory summarization,field investigation,simulation modeling and simulation process analysis,and analyzes the pedestrian walking behavior and the station entering process of Xi’an subway station.And it offers a proposal to increase the traffic capacity of pedestrian facilities in the subway station and solve the rush hour congestion.The main work of the paper is as follows.Firstly,it analyzes and summarizes the current theory of pedestrians’ micro and macro traffic characteristics,the level of service and traffic capacity,which provides a theoretical basis for the subsequent research work.Secondly,the field survey and pedestrian flow observation of the typical urban rail transit transfer station in Xi’an city were carried out.The micro and macro traffic characteristics of the pedestrians in the station were analyzed respectively,and the rules and influencing factors of pedestrians walking in the passage and stairs were studied.At the same time,the service time and influencing factors of escalators,ticket vending machines,security inspections and gates were studied,which provided the basis for subsequent traffic capacity and level of service analysis.Thirdly,the basic theory of social force model is introduced.The pedestrian simulation model of AnyLogic’s pedestrian library based on social force model is applied.The model parameters are set and verified according to the measured data.Finally,based on the field survey data,the pedestrian capacity of the pedestrian facilities in subway stations was calculated,and the simulation software of Anylogic simulation software was used to simulate the pedestrian entering station process of the Xi’an Metro Big Wild Goose Pagoda Station to find out the bottlenecks.According to the simulation results,some problems existing in the current situation of the station building of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda were found.And the simulation software was used to find out the optimization design and some suggestions for improvement measures were put forward.
