As China promoting the development of smart grid application strongly,many smart substations based on IEC61850 were constructed all over the country rapidly.System configuration tool for smart substation provides necessary technical support for integration of the substation automation system,and plays a decisive role on the quality and efficiency of project performance.Though there are a number of scholars had discussed the design and implementation of it,but with the rapid growth of the number of engineering,project performance pressure also increases,how to improve the performance of the software and automation level is a big problem that new system configuration tools should solve.This paper aimed at the bottleneck of the system configuration tool proposed a new SCL file management method to enhance the underlying data access performance,and design a set of efficient automated processing for some functions that exists large amount of configuration work,which makes the software performance and automation of processing capacity to meet the requirements of high working efficiency.According to the above ideas,the research work of this thesis includes:1)After compared XML processing technologies nowadays exists,a SCL file management method with better performance was proposed;2)After compared the designs for the visual configuration of primary equipments,a new design with lower degree of coupling was proposed,and the algorithm for the IEC61850 topological relation model based on the diagram was proposed;3)According to the characteristics of RTU configuration,proposed a processing method to match telecommunication point description automatically based on string similarity algorithms that make the configuration work easier and more efficient.Through accurate measurement and analysis,we found that the SCL file management method proposed in this paper has obvious improvement on the analytical speed and memory footprint,which makes the software running faster and more stable.The implement of primary equipments and their topological relation model automatic processing and telecommunication points automatic matching,greatly shorten the time of configuration work and achieve the target to complete the system configuration efficiently.
