A Study On The Settlement And Traditional Dwellings Of The Mulao Nationality In Tantou Village,Guzhai Township,Guangxi Province

Mulao nationality is a relatively smaller ethnic of the 56 ethnic groups with small population base,according to the 2010 national census statistics,Mulam Nationality population is 216257.Mulam Nationality mainly concentrated in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Guizhou Province.Mulam which is located in Guangxi most concentrated in Luocheng Mulam Autonomous County and Gu Zhai Mulam autonomous Township,it is the only national Mulam Nationality County and Mulam township.Construction of Mulam Nationality in Guangxi has witnessed three hundred years of history precipitation,which perfectly fuse inheritance of the essence of construction and constant turnover of the natural environment from generation to generation,which will play a crucial role in the future construction of modern urban development and village of inheritance and protection.This paper selects ancient residential buildings of Tan tou village in Guzhai Mulam county as research object in order to find the problems,to solve it and expand further for the development and reintegration for overall context.Through visiting more than 120 ancient dwellings of the village,measuring and drawing for 31 homes and five street facade,it will evaluate the value of the historic,cultural and architectural creation.The article is mainly divided into four parts.Firstly,the paper introduces the Mulam geographical and cultural background,the purpose of which is to have a preliminary understanding and judgment of the factors on theformation of the nation as well as the impact the national architecture;secondly,according to the village and the overall layout of architectural space,I did a lot of Surveying and mapping research,summarizing and analyzing the research results.Finally,this paper sums up the value of the Mulam Nationality dwellings and proposes relevant suggestions for protection in accordance with the existing problems.
