At present,in order to ensure the correctness of the NC machining process of aero-engine parts,technicians of an aero-engine manufacturing enterprise use VERICUT software to simulate the actual processing process of parts,detect the possible errors in the NC program in advance,and reduce the trial cutting before actual processing.With the further deepening of the application of digital design and manufacturing technology in enterprises,in order to further improve the efficiency of production and processing,higher requirements have been put forward for the utilization rate of CNC machine tools,the flexibility of production process and the management of CNC machine tools information.However,due to the limitations of its functions,VERICUT software can not meet the needs of enterprises,so it is urgent to introduce a CNC machining simulation software that meets the production status of the enterprise.NCSIMUL software has the functions of three-dimensional machining simulation,program validation and optimization,real-time monitoring of machine tool status and so on.It can optimize the utilization rate of NC machine tools in manufacturing enterprises and further improve the flexibility of production.However,as a general NC machining simulation system,NCSIMUL software machine tool library only provides a small number of demonstration machine tools.Enterprises need to establish the corresponding NCSIMUL virtual machine tools according to existing production equipment,which can be directly invoked by technicians in the simulation process.In addition,the original NC machining simulation report template of NCSIMUL software can not meet the needs of enterprises,so it is necessary to customize the NC machining simulation report template according to the actual needs,and publish the simulation process information of aero-engine parts to the manufacturing workshop in the form of NC machining simulation report,so as to guide the production and processing of machine tool operators.The main work and research results of this paper are summarized as follows:(1)This paper briefly introduces the functional modules of NCSIMUL software,makes functional comparison with the same type of simulation software,and studies the application scope of NCSIMUL software.(2)This paper studies the NCSIMUL-based virtual machine tool simulation environment construction technology,and creates the NCSIMUL virtual machine tool simulation environment for the company's existing 5 types of 15 CNC machine tools,and studies the NCSIMUL cutting tool construction technology.(3)In view of the fact that the NC machining simulation information of an aero-engine manufacturing enterprise's process institute can not be quickly and efficiently transmitted to the production workshop,NCSIMUL NC machining simulation report template is customized to meet the needs of the enterprise.(4)This paper studies the NC machining simulation technology based on UG and NCSIMUL and the NCSIMUL-based machining machine replacement method,which is successfully applied to the NC machining simulation of aero-engine parts of the enterprise.
