Study On The Planning Strategies Of Regime 183 Characteristic Towns Of Xinjiang Production And Construction Corps

The construction has swept across the whole country during the past decades.A variety of characteristic towns are springing up,especially after the construction of thousands of characteristic towns,which could make demonstration,promotion and guidance for implementation of crucial national ways of new-type urbanization.Characteristic towns are distinctively from others due to their geographical,industrial,cultural and functional characteristics,etc.therefore the planning strategies of characteristic towns are taken as the breakpoint to explore local features and develop characteristic towns,which is the important opportunity for the transformation of local industry,urbanization improvement and healthy sustainable development.Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps(hereinafter referred to as the "Corps")was constructed and developed based on the reclamation and guarding of frontier borders.The majority of corps reclamation areas is far away from the branch transportation within XinJiang and is adjacent to the desert.Arid and semi-arid ecological environment are the basic ecological environment faced by the Corps.In this paper,Regime 183 of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps is taken as the research object to focus on the industry,society,space and ecology of characteristic town and further propose the suitable planning strategies,which is different from the construction pattern of other matured characteristic towns in developed areas,such as Zhejiang.In this paper,characteristic town is taken as the breakthrough point to analyze the research development and method of foreign characteristic towns.The theoretical basis is reviewed from three aspects: core connotation,crucial meaning and basic features.The discussion of construction also draws lessons from the site condition of foreign countries.The status quo of this project includes location,transportation,natural resources,historical and cultural resources,economic industry and tourism resources,etc,meanwhile,stressing the public participation.The questionnaire is conducted to absorb suggestions and ideas from citizens to generate the development requirements and summarize the opportunities and challenges.Ultimately,the function,nature and development scale are considered to make planning strategies for cultivation of characteristic industries chains,spatial cultivation of composed function,image and scape of integrated culture and overall benefits and thereby explore the creative planning of chracteristic towns in the future.
