The intersection is the node and hub that conveys the traffic flow of the road section,and it is the important part of the road network.However,the cause of the intersection of the national highway and the trunk road is complex,and there are too many intersections with low technical indicators on the trunk highways.At present,highways,especially those of Grade III and above in Heilongjiang Province,have a large traffic volume and prominent safety hazards.In order to reduce the occurrence of safety accidents and improve the service level of roads,this paper will analyze the characteristics of the intersections of highways and the factors affecting safety,put forward series transformation plan of intersections,and establish an intersection safety evaluation system,and analyze and evaluate the effect of the transformation plan of intersections.Firstly,the construction characteristics and traffic characteristics of the intersections are analyzed.The statistical analysis of the casualties and traffic accidents of the S305 SuiZhao highway in recent years is carried out.The traffic conflicts are investigated and analyzed at the typical intersections.According to the above analysis conclusions,the conclusions are summarized.The safety influencing factors of the intersection of the trunk highway are summarized as four levels: road geometry(flat,vertical,horizontal),intersection sight distance,and intersection traffic safety management.Secondly,according to the factors affecting safety of the intersections of trunk highways,in order to reduce the collision of vehicles at intersections,the corresponding safety transformation plan is proposed,including the intersection angle of intersections,the spacing of adjacent intersections,and the longitudinal slope of intersections,sight distance of intersections,turning radius of intersections,road surface hardening of intersections,traffic management methods,channelization of intersection and safety facilities at intersections.Subsequently,this paper analyzes the mechanism,effectiveness and severity of traffic conflict technology,and selects the conflict rate as the safety evaluation index of the intersection of the trunk highways.The TCT-based K-means fuzzy clustering safety evaluation method is proposed.The feasibility and effectiveness of the method are proved by case analysis.Finally,based on VISSIM simulation software,the effects of TTC,PET,driving delay and queue length are analyzed for the reconstruction plan of trunk highways intersections,which proves the feasibility and effectiveness of the intersection reconstruction plan,and as references for the renovation of intersections.
