At present,the economic development in China has entered the new normal.Under the background of the new era,there is very limited space for port enterprises to gain benefit growth by expanding their scale and increasing their throughput capacity.In many coastal areas,there is a surplus of port construction with convergent functions,and homogenization competition is becoming increasingly fierce.The development model of ports relying on the previous monopoly of supply and expansion of production has become difficult to continue.Under this background,it is a wise choice for the development direction of port enterprises to take an intelligent development path,to improve the logistics services quality of port and economic benefits in an all-round way through intelligent port construction,and to enhance the brand effect and core competitiveness of port enterprises on the basis of the existing achievements in information construction.This article takes Qinhuangdao Port as the research object,and studies the design of smart port scheme,aiming to improve the intelligence level of the port and enhance the comprehensive competitive strength of the port.At the same time,it provides some reference significance for similar dry bulk ports to build smart ports.Firstly,this paper puts forward the background and significance of the selected topic,combs the research results of organizations and scholars at home and abroad on the Internet of Things and smart ports,points out the research contents and methods,and provides a theoretical basis for the follow-up research through the organization and analysis for relevant theories.Secondly,based on the study of the related concepts about Internet of Things technology and smart port,this paper analyzes the current situation,shortcomings and causes of the construction for the smart port of Qinhuangdao port,and points out the feasibility and necessity of the construction for the smart port of Qinhuangdao port combined with the smart port framework theory,which lays a foundation for scientific and rational construction of the smart port.Thirdly,this paper proposes the goal and principle for the construction of Qinhuangdao smart port,built the overall framework of Qinhuangdao smart port according to the overall design idea,and then respectively describes the four functional modules of service cloud platform of logistics supply chain,smart dock platform,big data customer service platform and cloud computing data center in detail.At the same time,according to the current situation of the port,this paper puts forward the key and difficult problems of building a smart port.Finally,combined with the actual situation of Qinhuangdao Port,the author puts forward the measure of safeguard for building a smart port from the aspects of organizational system guarantee,think tank construction,industrial alliance,information security guarantee and so on,so as to ensure the smooth implementation of the smart port construction in enterprises.
