Marine electric propulsion system has many advantages over traditional machinery propulsion system,but it's application and development are limited due to complicated structure and high cost in the earlier stage.Modeling and simulation method can be employed to analyze the performance of marine electric propulsion system and study relevant project verification,which can significantly reduce both time and cost in the earlier stage and avoid risks,therefore making a difference in its application and development.The critical step in the development of simulation software for marine electric propulsion system is the modeling of each part in the propulsion system.Because of its complicated structure,the propulsion system is divided into different parts,then abundant model library is built with classification modeling method along with top interface and database according to user's requirements,which means a lot to the universality of simulation software.Since the control system for driven motor is the key part of marine electric propulsion system,apart from the existing common control methods,to equip the model base with more advanced control methods can greatly facilitate the development and application of marine electric propulsion technology.Aiming at the performance analysis of marine electric propulsion system and the development of simulation software,this thesis carried out related work as follows.1)The latest progress and research of marine electric propulsion system is investigated,and the application and prospect of modeling and simulation method in marine electric propulsion system is summarized.2)Mathematics analysis of a marine electric propulsion system is conducted and corresponding simulation models,including diesel engine and its governor,synchronous generator and its excitation system,transformer,converter,motor and its control system,propeller and ship motion system,are established.3)The direct torque control and prediction current control model for permanent magnet synchronous motor is established and studied,one-beat time delay compensation and deadbeat control theory are applied to optimize the prediction current control model.4)Model library,suitable interface and database are established and integrated,which complete the development of marine electric propulsion system simulation software.5)Entire system simulation models are established in the software based on configuration,on which simulation experiments and related performance analysis are conducted,including the comparison analysis of direct torque control and prediction current control for permanent magnet synchronous motor,ship acceleration experiment and ship deceleration experiment.6)Analysis on the kinds and reasons of converter fault in propulsion motor drive system is conducted.Characteristic parameters are extracted and analysed from fault simulation experiments,which are conducted based on the simulation software,including open circuit,short circuit and time delay because of the ageing of inverter.
