The impact of fog on highway traffic safety has always been a worldwide problem.The visibility of foggy days is reduced,and it is easy to cause major traffic accidents such as rollover,rear-end collision,and rear-end collision,which seriously threaten the safety of life and property of highway users and operators.In the context of the rapid economic development,the highway network is increasingly developed,and the scope of fog is widening.Under this circumstance the intelligent guidance system for highway fog zone.is born from time to time.This paper proposes the design scheme of the intelligent guidance system for driving in high-speed road fog zone.Based on the system hardware platform,the software layer is designed.The system hardware platform integrates meteorological sensor,GPS module,i.MX6 Q industrial control board and guiding slave.The general control software dispatching parts cooperate to realize the guiding function of the vehicle under low visibility conditions.Firstly,theoretical research is carried out.The paper uses a large number of domestic and foreign research results to analyze the factors affecting road traffic safety such as visibility,and to determine the mode configuration logic based on visibility as the primary judgment.Three working modes of the system are developed in conjunction with industry standards.Corresponding to the three working modes,the visibility is carefully classified,and the system’s mode configuration strategy library is formed,which is used as the scheduling control basis of the general control program.The development of software includes three parts: development environment construction,general control software design and monitoring software design.Environment construction part complete two aspects of work,one is to build i.MX6-Linux-Qt cross-compilation environment,configure serial debugging tools,and the second is to transplant Linux system to the main control board.The general control software is the core control part of the system,and the general control software runs on the main control board to complete the scheduling and operation of the hardware.The design of the general control software includes data acquisition and analysis,working mode selection and multi-timer control.The data transmission and analysis of the main control software follow the industrial control Modbus protocol.The working mode selection is based on the preset mode configuration strategy.Ttiming control.Makes the system run automatically when unattended.As a supplement to the automatic mode,design monitoring software.the relevant functions in the OpenCV library are used to capture the video frame of the webcam,so that the manager can understand the road surface in time,and if necessary,artificially interfere with the system operation.Finally,the application software is tested and verified.Before testing the software,firstly,test the port and communication functions of the general control board.The software test includes the information collection function test of the general control software,the core control function test,and the video stream capturing function test of the monitoring program.From the test results,the design of the application software meets the expected requirements.
