In modern times it is a trend that ship is being built more larger,more automotive and multiple functional.In the field of ship and marine engineering,for drilling oil in deep ocean a drilling ship configured a mass of electrical power system and equipments,high power electrical generator and a lot of electrical cables are needed for operation of them.Selecting cables correctly is significative to keep electrical power system safe?reliable and the economical using of cables;the design of cable route is the beginning of the electrical production design,which will determine the difficulty of subsequent design work and the convenience of site working.The new process of cable pre-cutting and pulling can improve the working efficiency,save the time of cable cutting and pulling on site,and at the same time promote the design quality.In this paper,the structure?basic parameters and characteristics of cable are introduced.the cable carrying current,short circuit current,cable voltage drop and load working current are calculated in detail.This paper summarizes the steps and principles of cable selection,and collects the requirements of various classification societies on cable selection.According to the calculation in this paper,the power system cable is selected,and the calculated cable is compared with the actual cable in use.In this paper,the design process of cable route is expounded,cable list and its key information are introduced.this paper summarizes the basic principles of cable route design,and optimizes the calculation method of cable tray selection in the cable route.In this paper,the three-dimensional ship design software Tribon is introduced,cable route modeling in Cable Express are studied and optimized,the import of cable information,the setting of cable route key nodes and the operation of the program are studied and introduced.In his paper,the cable cutting and pulling process are optimized,the cable pre-cutting and pulling process with the traditional on-site cutting and laying process are compared,and the cable sequence rearrangement in cable drum,capacity of cable drum are calculated and optimized in the cable pre-cutting and laying process.
