Considering the power controllable characteristics of the datacenter,it can be integrated into a smart grid with renewable energy generation as a load so as to consume renewable energy to some extent.This paper considers the possible impact of datacenter and photovoltaic power station access on the power grid,and studies the location and capacity planning of datacenter construction.Aiming at the optimization problem,under the condition of voltage and branch power constraints,the optimal solution for the planning problem of photovoltaic power station and datacenter access location and capacity is solved based on genetic algorithm.The experimental results show that the simulation model proposed in this paper can find the optimal position of datacenter and photovoltaic power station placement,so as to reduce the total loss of the power grid and maintain the stability of the power grid more effectively.The location deployment of datacenters and photovoltaic power stations affects the operating costs and benefits of the power grid directly.Besides,there are also many other important considerations for site selection,including economic conditions in the region,land prices,and on-grid tariffs.The selection process can be very complex and time consuming due to the many potential locations and many issues need to be considered.We have developed a new optimization framework which consider both network loss and the total cost for constructing photovoltaic stations and datacenters to achieve the maximum revenue.Under the condition of voltage and branch power constraints,we can find the optimal solution for datacenter and photovoltaic power plant location deployment through the genetic algorithm.Experiments have shown that the intelligent placement of datacenters and photovoltaic power plants can increase the total revenue by millions of dollars.
