With the science technology and living standard improvement,the vehicle multimedia infotainment system has already became from the Radio with simple function to the complex system which were integrated with Media Player,Navigation,Driving Assistance,Internet Service,Smart Device Link and Communication etc.Now vehicle multimedia infotainment system faced much challenge by benchmarked with consumed mobile electronics.How to design and implement a vehicle multimedia infotainment system which can meet both customer's higher and more diversified requirement and the strict standard for vehicle electronics is an urgent problem for vehicle infotainment electronics industry.According to the corporation market requirement,the thesis described the history of vehicle infotainment and summarized the development progress of the whole four generations vehicle infotainment systems.Based on the current status and author's corporation technical accumulation,a vehicle multimedia infotainment system which features Tuner,Audio/Video Output,Bluetooth,Mirrorlink,Telematics,WIFI,Navigation,Rear View Camera etc.was raised.The thesis also defined the system architecture by analyzed the customer's actual requirement for function and performance.Regarding the hardware design,dual-processor strategy was introduced by this thesis and the main processor is from i.mx6 family made by Freescale as an Application Processor and the co-processor is 78K0 R family made by Renesas as a Vehicle Interface Processor.And for the Digital Signal Processor,TEF6638 HW was used to implement tuner and audio output function.Beside these,other hardware modules such as Power Supply,Display module,Bluetooth,WIFI module and CAN transceiver were also selected in this thesis.The software design was based on Linux operation system and the GUI embedded construction was based on QT per compared with MicroWindows,OpenGUI,MiniGUI.In the meanwhile,detailed discussion and analysis was presented to other function implementation such as Tuner,Media,Source Management,Navigation,Voice Recognition,Reserve Assistance and Diagnostic etc.For each feature function,the software structure,sequence,flowchart were designed and implemented.After the discussion and analysis for both hardware and software,the thesis described the test procedure and verified the multifunction infotainment system designed and implemented by this thesis was reliable and stable to meet the product requirement.Finally,the thesis made a conclusion for the entire design and summarized the weakness.Then it forecast the future design direction for vehicle multifunction infotainment system development.
