I.MX31 Based Design Of Car-Mounted Multimedia System

In this dissertation, a Car-Mounted Multimedia System is designed. This Car-Mounted Multimedia System is developed based on FreeScale i.MX31 using Linux as its embedded operation system. The dissertation gives a detail description about the system Boot Loader design, device drivers' design and MCU software design.In chapter 1, it introduces the current development of the Car-Mounted Multimedia System and the embedded system OS.In chapter 2, it analyzes the system designation of the Car-Mounted Multimedia System, and focuses on the hardware framework and the system's principium.In chapter 3, it introduces the Boot Loader porting. Focus on redboot technique keys and the procedure of the redboot which has been specialized for this system porting.In chapter 4, it analyzes the specialized porting method of Linux to the i.MX31, manufactured by FreeScale, for the Car-Mounted Multimedia. Especially the Operation System porting procedures, kinds of device drivers design.In chapter 5, it introduces MCU software design.In chapter 6, it fulfils the Board Support Package for Car-Mounted Multimedia System software test, and gives out the result of the test after analyzing the method to test.In chapter 7, it concludes the research work of the dissertation, also raises the tendency of the possible ways of further development.
