Marine diesel engines are products with a high degree of customization,long design cycles and high technical content.The ambiguity of the customer's initial demand and the rapidity of technological innovation have led to frequent design changes in marine diesel engines,which in turn has extended product design cycles and increased design and manufacturing costs.Among them,the accurate estimation of the cost of changing the marine diesel engine and its components is the key to reviewing the design change plan and making design change decisions.However,the research on the design change management of marine diesel engine parts is still in the exploration stage,mainly focusing on the analysis of the impact of design changes on design goals,and there are problems such as inaccurate design change cost estimation.In this context,this paper proposes a research plan for the design change cost of marine diesel engine parts,aiming at improving the accuracy of the cost estimation of marine diesel engine parts,and based on the analysis of the estimation results,optimizing the design change plan,and supporting the enterprise design change decision..The main research contents of this paper are as follows:First,in order to realize the conversion of the change design featuress of the marine diesel engine parts to the change cost features,this paper introduces the feature mapping technology to map the changed change design featuress into manufacturing process features,cost features,and manufacturing process features into cost features,establishing the relationship between change design featuress,change manufacturing process features,and change cost features.Among them,in the process of mapping the change design featuress to the change manufacturing process features,considering the lack of accurate tolerance levels and surface roughness of the parts during the design change review stage,the similarity evaluation of the manufacturing features is introduced to make pre-selection process plan for the manufacturing feature and transform the change design featuress into manufacturing process features.Secondly,in order to realize the quantitative estimation of the design change cost of marine diesel engine parts,the design change cost estimation model of marine diesel engine parts is constructed.Firstly,Firstly,based on the feature cost method,a direct design change cost estimation model for marine diesel engine parts is constructed,including feature material cost,feature processing cost and feature relationship cost.Secondly,in view of the fact that the feature cost estimation method can not estimate the indirect design change cost,this paper establishes an indirect design change cost model to estimate the economic impact of design changes on finished products,semi-finished products,raw materials,purchased parts and new investments.Thirdly,the design change cost of marine diesel engine parts of H enterprise is taken as an example to estimate the design change cost,and the effectiveness and superiority of the method are verified.At the same time,cost composition analysis and cost difference analysis based on the estimation results provide a reference for improving the design change plan and reducing the cost of change.Finally,the paper refines the research results and explores the future research directions.
