With the continuous development of China's aviation industry,the avionics system has become increasingly complex,which has experienced four stages of development:discrete,federated,integrated and advanced integrated.At the same time,the mainstream aviation bus of avionics system has gradually changed from ARINC429 bus to AFDX bus.In the current IMA architecture,although AFDX bus is used as the backbone network bus,ARINC429 bus is still retained in some subsystems.When ARINC429 bus data is merged into the backbone network,there are some problems such as bus protocol and physical interface mismatch.Therefore,it is necessary to transfer the bus through the bus adapter.Bus adapter acts like a joint in the system,when ARINC429 bus is used in some safety critical systems,if data errors occur in the bus adapter,it will affect the safety of aircraft,and even cause catastrophic accidents.Therefore,the research of high safety aviation bus adapter is of great significance.The high-safety aviation bus adapter is based on SOPC technology,which is realized by the method of hardware and software co-design with NIOS II software core as the main controller.It is highly safety,portable,and can be upgraded online.Firstly,the functional requirements and safety requirements of the aerospace bus adapter are analyzed,and the function and safety objectives of the bus adapter are determined through the analysis.On this basis,the system architecture and functional sub-modules are determined,such as AFDX interface and data processing module,protocol conversion,ARINC429 interface circuit and storage error detection and correction module composed of storage module and EDAC circuit.Then,on the basis of the overall design of the system,the hardware and software of the bus adapter are designed.Finally,through simulation and testing,it is verified that each functional module and system can correctly achieve its corresponding functions;through the safety analysis of the system,it is verified that the system can meet the expected safety objectives.
