As one of the airport navigation facilities,the navigation lights are one of the important guarantee facilities of the airport.Its state and performance directly affect the safety of aircraft taking off and landing.However,in the process of aircraft taking off and landing,it is easy to cause pollution of the light window of the navigation aid.The pollutants on the surface of the navigation light window will destroy the average light intensity of the navigation aid and seriously affect the visual operation of the pilot.Annex 14 of the International Civil Aviation Organization(ICAO)clearly states that the light intensity of the navigation lights must be of a certain value to ensure a safe landing of the aircraft.Therefore,the practical problem that needs to be solved in the maintenance of airport runway lighting is the scientific understanding of the pollutants on the surface of the navigation light window and the removal of pollutants by scientific and efficient cleaning methods.Based on this demand,the main research contents of the thesis include:(1)The source characteristics of the common pollutants on the surface of the navigation light window were analyzed.Combined with the actual working environment of the navigation aid,the rubber cement which is contaminated by the surface of the navigation light is the most difficult to remove.By comparing the common rubber cement cleaning scheme,a method of jetting and cleaning the navigation aids with sodium bicarbonate was proposed.(2)In order to study the mathematical model of the impact of sodium bicarbonate particles on the quality of the contaminated rubber layer of the navigation aids,the indentation theory(Boussinesq model)caused by the rigid indenter acting on the elastic half space and the fatigue crack propagation of Southern and Thomas were studied are combined.It is then converted to an erosion rate.From this model,we can see the relationship between the erosion rate of the rubber layer and the performance of the rubber layer,the size of the sodium bicarbonate particles,the impact velocity,and the impact angle.(3)The overall scheme of the navigational lighting cleaning equipment was designed.Firstly,the selection and optimization design of the blasting system and the selection of the installation method were completed.Then the optimized design of the actuator was completed,and the three-dimensional model was established and machined.Finally,the spray cleaningsystem and the actuator were assembled.(4)The performance of the prototype of the navigational lighting cleaning equipment was tested and verified,including the verification of the flexibility and stability of the pressure supply and nozzle movement of the equipment.The results all met the cleaning requirements.The experimental study on the relationship between cleaning effect and cleaning pressure,abrasive flow rate,cleaning distance and spray angle was also carried out.(5)The computer image processing technology was used to analyze and process the cleaning image,and the quantitative analysis of the cleaning effect was realized.According to the obtained experimental data,the influence of relevant parameters on the cleaning effect was analyzed,and the cleaning parameters such as nozzle diameter,injection pressure,abrasive flow rate,continuous cleaning time,spray angle,and cleaning distance of the sodium bicarbonate jet cleaning auxiliary navigation lamp were determined.
