Recently, due to the rapid growth of traffic capacity, although the aircraft accident rate had a significantly downward trend, the total amout of accidents has risen in fact.Avionic engineers have applied automation to many modern flight operations. No matter how autonomic and automated the aircraft is,howe ver, pilots are always the main controllers who are crucial to flight safety. The refore, the proneness of flight operations can be studied by analyzing operation characteristics and operation skills of pilots. Thus airlines can be supported theoretically to improve flight training,so as to prevent the occurrence of flight accidents.Firstly, through massive literature review and Flight Operations Quality As surance(FOQA)standard in airlines, the indicators describing pilots' operation skills were selected from four dimensions of pilots' flight operation: completene ss,normalization, timeliness and smoothness In flight operation,take-off climb,as well as approach and landing are the most important and dangerous phases. Therefore, through the analysis and optimization,32 indicators were finally determined, including 13 indicators of completeness,5 of timeliness and 14 of smoothness. In the dimension of smoothness, the manual operation indicator was obtained by calculating power spectral density. In order to integrate all the evaluation indicators to assess pilot's operation skill comprehensively, the entropy weight method and TOPSIS model were combined.Firstly, the weight of each index was determined by the entropy weight method, and then nearness degree indicating the distance between each true and ideal values was calculated by TOPSIS model. Finally the value of nearne ss degree was used to evaluate the operational level of each flight. As a case study, the values of nearness of 351 flights were obtained, and the operation of each flight was divided into four levels. The results showed that the flights of "medium" and "good" operational level accounted for 94% respectively, and "excellent" and "poor" for 3% respectively, which indicates that in this company pilots possess intermediate skill levels.Furthermore, the means and standard deviations of 20 pilots' nearness degree were compared to study the difference between individuals.By constructing the evaluation matrix, pilots' flight operation skills were compared. Finally, based on PyQt,a prototype system for ope ration skill evaluation was implemented, which contained six modules including flight QAR data filtering and operation skill evaluating. The system achieved visualization of flight data processing and operation skill evaluation.
