With the growing national economy,the axle load of vehicles is increasing,and the performance of pavements is receiving more and more attention.At present,most of the commonly used polymer modified asphalts represented by SBS,but the research shows that the polymer modified asphalt has high preparation cost,complicated modification process,poor fusion with the matrix asphalt,and is inconvenient to use,thereby limiting its widely used.Budun rock asphalt(abbreviated as BRA)from Indonesia has been widely used in pavement engineering because it has good road performance and reasonable economy and is used as a modifier to make Budun rock modified asphalt.The low temperature crack resistance of Budun rock modified asphalt is insufficient.The rapid development of the transportation industry has led to an increase in the number of automobiles,and the number of used rubber tires has also increased exponentially.Rubber powder modified asphalt can provide good lowtemperature crack resistance while reducing the environmental impact of used tires to some extent.harm.In this paper,the BRA-rubber composite modified asphalt with high and low temperature properties is expected to be obtained by the composite modification of the bitumen with asphalt and rubber powder.Firstly,the asphalt composition of the Butonite bitumen and the composition of the rubber powder were analyzed.Combined with the modification mechanism of the Butonite asphalt and the rubber powder acting on the asphalt respectively,the composite modification of the Budun rock asphalt and rubber powder was theoretically demonstrated.The road performance of asphalt is much better than that of matrix asphalt.Through the analysis of penetration,softening point,ductility and film oven aging test data,it is shown that the temperature performance,high temperature performance,low temperature performance and anti-aging performance of different combinations of Budunite asphalt and rubber powder on asphalt materials There are different degrees of improvement,and the degree of performance improvement is closely related to the amount of Budun rock asphalt and rubber powder.Since the mineral particles in the Budun rock asphalt will adversely affect the test results,further reference is needed to the test results of the composite modified asphalt mixture.According to various factors,the blending amount of 20% BRA+22% rubber powder was selected,and the compounding ratio of composite modified asphalt mixture was designed.Secondly,through the study of the road performance of composite modified asphalt mixture with different combinations,and compared with the matrix asphalt and SBS modified asphalt,the results show that after the blending of the cement and the rubber powder,not only the asphalt mixture The index meets the technical requirements of the modified asphalt mixture,and its high temperature stability,low temperature crack resistance and water damage resistance are improved to varying degrees.Finally,the economic and social benefits of the composite modified asphalt mixture were analyzed.The composite modification of Budun rock asphalt and rubber powder can not only improve the performance of pavement,improve the service level of pavement,but also meet the requirements of energy saving and environmental protection,and has good social and economic benefits and application prospects.
