Since the reform and opening up,the rapid development of highway traffic in China,because the semi-rigid base asphalt pavement has the characteristics of high strength and good plate body,which makes it has become the main subgrade structure in China in recent years,but it will produce reflective cracks that affect the road.The reflection crack is mainly caused by temperature change and traffic load.In order to study the ability of crumb rubber modified asphalt mixture as the surface layer to restrain the reflection crack in medium and light traffic road,studying on the upper layer of crumb rubber modified asphalt mixture by using Fushun BaoShang line as the engineering background.Firstly,the crumb rubber modified asphalt mixture raw performance materials were tested,then carrying out gradation design of the aggregate which used in the test,the optimal mixing amounts of modified asphalt was obtained by Marshall test,and determining the proportion of aggregate and crumb rubber modified asphalt,the high temperature stability and water stability of crumb rubber modified asphalt were studied by test.Then,carrying out the structural layer design of Crumb rubber modification(1),Crumb rubber modification(2)and typical basic structure,and according to the traffic conditions,the design deflection and the thickness of structure layer are determined.Through the design parameters of each structural layer,the three kinds of structure are modeled and analyzed by using FLAC3 D numerical simulation software,and analyzing the mechanical properties of them under temperature load and driving load,comparison of the effect of crumb rubber modified asphalt mixture and basic structure of pavement on the reflection cracking.And then paving the test road and testing on the paved road.through core sampling test,the compactness and compressive strength of the road are tested,which can check the applicability of crumb rubber modified asphalt.And long-term tracking and monitoring of the test road,and the comparison of the surface roughness and cracks of rubber modified asphalt pavement and basic pavement,then analysis of the effect of crumb rubber modified asphalt mixture on the reflection cracking.Finally,evaluating the economic benefits and social benefits of rubber powder modified asphalt mixture.Through numerical simulation and experimental study,the crumb rubber modified asphalt mixture has good road performance and satisfy the road performance requirements.And it can effectively reduce the stress value of the bottom of each structure layer and the damage rate of the pavement,and increasing the distance between the cracks in the pavement,so it can inhibit the effect of reflection crack by reducing the stress and damage rate of asphalt pavement.The application of crumb rubber modified asphalt not only improves the quality of engineering,but also decreases greatly the engineering price.
