The accomodation area of the ship is the place where the crew work,the residence concentrated and the precision instrument and equipment be installed.The vibration of this area will directly affect the living and working level of the crew,and even causes the failure and damage of the precision instrument and equipment,so the vibration problem of the residential area has always been paid much attention at home and abroad.In recent years,the part of the VLCC built in China is not properly evaluated at the initial design stage,making the residential area resonances with the main engine and propeller when ship operating at the common speed of the main engine.It has also caused many complaints from the ship owners and the crew’s complaints and has to force the ship to speed down or speed up to avoid the resonance speed.At the same time,with the development of the world economy and extend of tanker management,the problem of the vibration of the tanker’s accomodation area is becoming more and more noticeable.In order to avoid the harm caused by the vibration and the uncomfortableness to the crew,it is very important to analyze the vibration of the accomodation area and predict the vibration in advance in the design of the ship.The first chapter of this paper briefly describes the background and significance of the research,and also the current status of ship vibration research at home and abroad.In the second chapter,the basic theory of ship vibration is summarized,and the theory of finite element calculation is also expounded.In the third chapter and the fourth chapter,the VLCC actual ship constructed by some domestic shipyard is used as the vibration research object.Through the establishment of the finite element model of the whole ship,the vibration finite element analysis of the accomodation area structure is carried out,and the theoretical analysis is verified by comparison with the results of the real ship measurement.At the same time,combined with hull vibration theory,the optimization plan of accomodation area is determined,and then the vibration condition of accomodation area is improved.
