The switched reluctance generator has the characteristics of simple and sturdy structure,low cost,flexible control mode,strong fault tolerance and environmental adaptability.With the development of power electronics technology,computer technology and control technology,switched reluctance generators have been widely used in aerospace,electric vehicles,wind power generation and other fields in recent years.Firstly,this paper introduces the research background and research significance of switched reluctance generators,and summarizes the research situation of switch reluctance generators by experts and scholars at home and abroad in recent years.The basic structure and operation principle of the switched reluctance generation system are analyzed in the second part.Based on the linear inductance model of switched reluctance generator,the formulas of its flux linkage and phase current are derived.Besides,two common power converters are introduced and their strengths and weaknesses are analyzed.Then,the causes of the output voltage ripple of the switched reluctance generator are analyzed,and the effects of the opening angle and the turn-off angle on the output voltage and efficiency of the switched reluctance generator system are studied.A variable angle fuzzy PI controller is designed.The Matlab/simulink simulation model of the switched reluctance generator system is established.By the aid of the optimization toolbox of Matlab/simulink,the parameters of the controller are optimized,which solves the problem of complex parameter tuning.Through simulation,the control effects of variable angle fuzzy PI controller and conventional PID controller on the output voltage of switched reluctance generator are compared and analyzed.Finally,the hardware experimental platform of the switched reluctance generator system is built,and the control program of the variable angle fuzzy PI controller and the conventional PID controller is coded.Through experimental comparison,the effectiveness of the designed variable angle fuzzy PI controller is further verified,which has practical engineering significance for further promoting the application of switched reluctance generator.
