Switched reluctance motors are simple in structure,low in cost,flexible in control,and able to adapt to harsh working environments,and have been widely used in household appliances,aviation,electric vehicles,and wind power generation.With the increasingly prominent energy issues and environmental issues,the research of switched reluctance motors in the field of power generation has received more and more attention.Taking the switched reluctance generator control system as the research,object,the stability of the output voltage of the system is improved based on pulse width modulation control.The basic structure and operating principle of the switched reluctance generator are described.The process of generator excitation and power generation is analyzed.Two generator modes,selfexcited and self-excited,and three control modes were discussed:angular position control,current chopping control and pulse width modulation control,which laid a foundation for the design of power generation control system.The mathematical model of the switched reluctance generator is determined,and the Matlab/Simulink simulation model of the switched reluctance generator is established.The control principle of the fuzzy PI controller and the setting process of the fuzzy rule table are introduced in detail.Based on the simulation model,the influences of turn-on angle,turn-off angle,excitation voltage,prime mover rotation speed and PWM duty cycle on the output voltage of the SRG are analyzed.In the conventional PID algorithm,the output voltage follows the fixed voltage and the output voltage appears in the simulation can not reach the given situation.The reasons for the failure of the system construction are analyzed.Due to the disadvantages of large output voltage and slow response of the switched reluctance generator under conventional PID control,fuzzy control and PID control combined with fuzzy PI control are adopted.Through simulation and comparison,the ftizzy PI control has better adaptability and stability than PID control.Completed the TMS320F28335 based switched reluctance motor power system hardware and software design and some debugging work.And on the experimental platform,the experimental research on the SRG of the SR controller and fuzzy PI controller is implemented.The results show that the fuzzy PI control has better adaptability and dynamic performance in the switched reluctance generator system than the PID method.
