Research On Colored Drawings Art Of Traditional Architecture In Lanzhou Region

The colored drawings on traditional buildings in Lanzhou are of great value historically,culturally and artistic,and has distinct regional characteristics.It is an important material for studying Chinese local architectural color painting,especially in northwest China.Under the background of globalization and urbanization,the early traditional architectural colored drawings in Lanzhou were impacted by many non-Lanzhou colored drawings.In addition,as the outer protection of the wooden structure system,architectural colored drawing is easy to be damaged.Therefore,it has become an important task to research,record and analyze the existing local traditional architectural drawings.In view of the diversity and flexibility of local color paintings,this article combined theory with practice,taked Baita Mountain and Wuquan Mountain,two large architectural complexes with the most concentrated traditional buildings in lanzhou,the former Gansu Juyuan architectural complex and the Zhou family ancestral temple architectural complex in Jinai town,Yuzhong county as the research object,there were more than 80 individual buildings in total.Through the methods of field investigation,literature analysis and engineering practice,this article made a comparative study between Lanzhou traditional architectural colored drawing and the official colored drawing in terms of its own characteristics and construction techniques.In order to further clarify the characteristics and cultural connotation of the traditional architectural colored drawings in lanzhou region,and to provided a reference for the current conservation and restoration of cultural relics and architectural design methods.The whole article was divided into three parts:The first part covered the first chapter,which was to understand the research status of traditional architectural painting at home and abroad through literature review and field investigation,analyze and elaborate the emerging problems in Lanzhou region,and established the research framework.The second part,covered the second and third chapters,was the theoretical research on the regional scope.The chapter 2 based on such firsthand information as oral history and field investigation,which interpreted the evolution,distribution and existing types of traditional architectural paintings in Lanzhou firstly.Then,used the typology method to analyzed and summarized the distribution of seven different architectural colored drawings in Lanzhou,which were Dadianjin,Xiaodianjin,Jinqinglv,Fensihuatou,Wucai,Qinglv and Sucai.On this basis,the text made a detailed and objective analysis of Lanzhou traditional architectural colored drawings from four aspects: proportion composition,decorative pattern,color configuration and drawing method,and made a comparative study of the official colored drawings in the Song and Qing dynasty.Chapter 3,on the basis of the previous research,it analyzed the deep cultural connotation of colored drawing from the two aspects of expression way and expression form.The third part,covered the fourth and fifth chapters,was a practical study of the subject.In chapter 4,the technical characteristics,technical study gave a basic account of the vernacular Chinese Wood Oil Work and Colored Drawing Work of Lanzhou from such aspects as Craftsman spectrum,materials,tools,working and skills.The fifth chapter discussed on the protection,inheritance and development mode mainly attempted to resolve the contradiction between the continuation of regional traditional cultural genes and integrated urbanization through literature analysis and the practice of relevant colored drawing works,so as to provided reference basis for the current work related to architectural colored drawings.
