R&d Investment,inter-organizational Network Embeddedness And Innovation Performance

Innovation is an inexhaustible driving force for the survival and development of enterprises.With the advent of network economy,the complexity and uncertainty of innovation increase,enterprises have to seek cooperation in innovation,and the innovation model gradually evolves to the network model.Enterprise innovation is embedded in the external network.Knowledge and information are spread and diffused rapidly with the help of social network.Cooperation and information sharing among network members not only enhance the connection and trust,but also accelerate the formation of innovation system,thus promoting the innovation performance of enterprises.Different locations across organizational networks can affect an enterprise's ability to access resources.Therefore,this paper attempts to summarize the influence of R&D investment on innovation performance under different network locations.This paper use the database of listed companies,China automotive industry yearbook,China's auto market almanac,corporate annual reports,company's website select 144 companies as the core node,based on social network analysis,using UCINET and Netdraw estimates across organizational network center,map visibility network,portrays the Chinese automobile enterprise overall network characteristics and the center position.Secondly,the paper focuses on the influence of R&D investment of inter-organizational network enterprises in different locations on innovation performance,and then uses the method of negative binomial regression and threshold regression to calculate and test.The results show that there is a significant positive correlation between R&D investment and innovation performance.Inter-organizational horizontal network embeddedness has a moderating effect on the impact of enterprise R&D investment on enterprise innovation performance,while inter-organizational vertical network embeddedness does not have an obvious moderating effect on the impact of enterprise R&D investment on enterprise innovation performance.
