Research On Vitality Promotion Strategy Of Ancient Cities Based On Multi-source Data

The ancient city is a region with the most profound cultural accumulation and the most prominent historical characteristics.Different from other urban functional areas,the particularity of the ancient city requires that it not only carefully treat the protection of historical heritage,but also adapt to the development of the new era.The coordination of the relationship between them has always been an important topic in the study of the ancient city.Considering that some ancient cities and historic blocks in China are still facing the dilemma of the disconnection from the development of other urban functional areas,the decline of internal functions and the loss of vitality.In this thesis,Zhaoyu ancient city was researched to discuss the strategy of enhancing the vitality of the ancient city based on multi-source data.Firstly,under the background of continuous attention to the vitality of ancient cities at domestic and abroad,the vigorous development of big data in the planning field and the new round of protection and renewal for Zhaoyu ancient city,this paper studies the relevant theories and practices of the ancient cities’ vitality at domestic and abroad,and concludes that urban planning discipline can analyze the vitality of ancient cities through four dimensions-space,function,culture and experience,as the foundation to study the vitality of Zhaoyu ancient city.Then,with the help of multi-source data,the present situation of Zhaoyu ancient city was analyzed from macro,meso and micro levels.According to the time dimension,the vitality of Zhaoyu ancient city was divided into the original vitality composed of aborigines in nontourism season and the comprehensive vitality composed of tourists and aborigines in tourism season.The detailed analysis of different time in one day was carried out respectively.Based on the research of literature and current situation,the vitality analysis model of the ancient city is built.The original viability,the comprehensive viability and the 12 influencing factors in four dimensions of Zhaoyu ancient city was quantized by using the ancient city viability analysis model in GIS spatial database,and the Pearson analysis was carried out on the data results of the influencing factors,the original viability and comprehensive viability respectively.The experimental results show that the correlation between functional dimension and vitality is the strongest,and spatial dimension is the weakest.The ranking and comprehensive vitality of the four dimensions are obviously different from those of the original vitality.The cultural dimension has a stronger impact on the comprehensive vitality than the experiential dimension,but which was contrary for the aborigines.At the same time,the linear correlation between the comprehensive vitality and each dimension is higher than the original vitality.Finally,based on the value orientation of "the symbiosis of off-season vitality and peak season vitality of tourism",the strategies to enhance the overall vitality of the ancient city are put forward as follows: building a multi-source data-supported management system of the ancient city as the basis and operating environment for future work;strengthening the external space connection,optimizing the internal transportation system;dynamic monitoring of cultural heritage,data-assisted renewal decision-making;and optimizing heritage features.Color interpretation,enhance the impact of function.Targeted strategies to enhance the peak season of tourism are: reshaping the tourism development pattern,diversifying the design of tour paths;compound transformation of land types,improving the functional density of the ancient city;optimizing service facilities and publicity,and improving the satisfaction of the ancient city.Targeted strategies to enhance the vitality of off-season tourism are: to enhance the mixing of functions,pay attention to the feedback of format updating;to refine the space design,to enhance the comfort of the environment.The proposed multi-source data-based strategy enriches the existing research on Zhaoyu Old City,and provides a new research idea for the future development of Zhaoyu Old City vitality promotion and protection and renewal.
